ELEPHANT- this is really rough. I need to spend several more hours. I have a question, how do i add more divisions. I tried clicking edit mesh - add divisions, but that didn't work. do i have to be in a specific mode?

It appears that you have it smoothed in your display, using the "3" key. If this is the case then adding divisions will not be reflected because it is already temporarily smoothed. Press the "1" key to take it out of smoothed mode to see what adding divisions did.
ReplyDeletefor some reason, I noticed in your smoothed render, that there is this weird fold in the mesh between the ear and the base of the trunk, Im not sure if that is supposed to be there from the angle of your screen cap.
