Requirements for the Final

The final will be a video submitted to our blog no later than the 26th of April 2012.

Video Requirements:
  1. No longer than 1 minute.
  2. Has a minimum resolution of 640 x 480.
  3. Make sure I know who it belongs too.
  4. Show me the game being played and make sure to show all of the following requirements while doing so.
  5. Extra Credit may be placed at the end, not to exceed 1 minute total
Final Grades will be determined based on the following criteria.
  • 10 pt. Modelling of Main Character and Assets
  • 10 pt. Texture of Main Character and Assets
  • 10 pt. Rigging of Main Character
  • 10 pt. Animation of Main Character containing: One Cycle, such as a Walk or Run, and one other, such as draws the weapon or idle or jump.
  • 10 pt. Game Level
  • 10 pt. User Interface
  • 10 pt. Scripting of Character Controller
  • 10 pt. Scripting of the User Interface
  • 10 pt. Scripting Character Interactions. e.g. enemies, tokens, keys, inventory items
The final will be weighted evenly with the midterm.

A total of 10 points can be awarded per category divided as follows.
First, 7 point will be awarded for completion of the individual requirement.
Second, the remaining 3 points will be awarded for finesse.

Lastly, Any extra work that does not make it into your game which you feel will improve your grade may be submitted in the reel, not to exceed the 1 minute requirement. This material can only affect your grade positively, kind of like extra credit.
