The monkey does look nice but it looks like you have the model smoothed. The game engine is not going to use it this way so you will want to make sure it looks good not smoothed.
My question is how do u keep a low poly count and also have a smooth model? I could make it infinitely more complex but then isn't that also bad for the game engine? Will there be absolutely no smoothing in the final renders?

DeleteYou can make it appear smoother and keep a low poly count by going to Normals>Smooth Edges.
